Over the course of lockdown and a lot of people being out of work, some turned to making money the only way they knew how, sex. Everyone and their grandma have an only fans account selling their vides as a way of making cash. If you’re not aware of this, I’m glad to enlighten you to what is going on.

I’ve known of the platform for a long time, I knew it as something a lot of sex workers were doing to make their own videos and getting majority of the profits. However, as I previously said during lock down some people, I have followed on twitter for a few years, were suddenly making videos and promoting it. It took me a while to notice the trend, then I had a thought could I do it?

Of course, I could do it, but would I want to? Maybe not, as you must know all the warning signs about having videos getting out and anyone can stumble on them. If I did want to do it, I know there is a market for people of my size, colour and everything else. Since I am business minded, I would try and come up with an interesting way to get my videos out there. Maybe doing something that feeds in a particular fetish, or something taboo even.

In reality thought I couldn’t do this, as with the job I am training for it wouldn’t been too smart to have videos out there. I don’t think it’s against any rules, so long as everything is above board, but I could see the videos being spread around school and causing problems. I wouldn’t be embarrassed thought, I lost that feeling long ago. I feel like some people would have issue with its context and would feel comfortable with being responsible for young people.

Even though I am not going to begin my life in porn, I did entertain the idea for a bit. More out of curiosity than anything, and to my surprise not many people were against the idea. There were a few people I’ve had relations with, who would have been okay with doing things on camera, or some were willing to let me film them solo or with other people. It was quite an eye opener.

I feel like a lot of us are willing to do it for the thrill of it, and some of us are willing to do for the cash. I don’t think either is better than the other, but it was surprising to me so many people were willing to do it. I feel like we are moving towards things like this becoming a norm. I know for decades people have been making sex tapes, but its interesting people are willing to make them public. When I think about it, isn’t there is even a program called Sex Tape?

Some might say we are constantly wanting to see people in sex act is perverted, and I say not really. I think it is quite a health thing, to want to see people having sex. However, I feel like with the only fans stuff its slightly different. Unlike porn where a lot of it is so over produced, cut, and trimmed to what looks like the perfect sex experience. This platform shows us a little bit more realism. While doing things a normal porn production wouldn’t do.

Who knows where these kinda of things will be in a few years, but I look forward to finding out. Since I can’t become a star of the internet, maybe I’ll make my directing debut producing by recoding XXX by FabEs. Who knows?
