Crash

Crash

Coaches were slow. Jamie wished he had the money to travel by train. However, when you’re a poor student, it limits your options. It was £6 for an early morning coach, a fast train, was three times as much. So coach it was.

As Jamie yawned and looked out the window, he watched things go by. He saw fields of animals, families arguing in the car, and a caravan park, with steam rising out of the exhaust. He hoped it wouldn’t be long now before he got home.

Even though Jamie argued with his Mum, the last time they spoke. He was really hoping to make it up to her. The gift he had gotten her, was wrapped in his bag underneath the coach. He was determined to make it the best Christmas ever. Even if it was going to take hours to get there.

BANG!

Suddenly Jamie felt wide awake.

There was suddenly noise everywhere. From tires screeching, all over the motorway. To sounds like exploding, and collins. BANG! There was another explosion.

People had gotten up from their seats to see what was going, as the bus continued to speed forward. Jame tried to get up too, but forgot he had put on his seatbelt. Which stopped him from rising from his seat.

Suddenly the coach pulled a sharp break. Everyone was thrown forwards. A young boy, just behind Jame, who had gotten up to look at chaos, was thrown forward. Jamie reached out a hand, and managed to catch the little boy by the hood. He choked him a little, but it was better than the boy having a face full of the floor.

Before he could really let go of the boy. The bust was thrown forwards again, as something had just hit the back of them.

There were more people yelling, as this had caused some people to hit their heads and other body parts onto different parts of the coach.  A woman had hit her arm on her way down, and apparently had broken it. While a man had broken his nose, on the seat in front of him. Suddenly, Jamie realised wearing his seatbelt had been a good idea.

Jamie was sure if he should get off the coach, or stay where he was. He couldn't remember if should always stay in a vehicle when there was a motorway accident. Then he thought, why wasn’t the driver telling them what to do? He undid his seat belt, and rushed up the aisle to the front of the coach. Stepping over people as he did so. When he got the font. He could see the driver was dead.

Jamie guessed, when the bus was hit from behind, the driver had gotten up and snapped his head and neck right into the wind screen. Dead on impact.

I want my Mum, was Jamie’s only thought.

He shook his head, and realised they needed to get off the bus. As he looked at the door, there were cars blocking the door. He guessed they were staying on the bus. He looked around. He knew the buses and coaches had that little hammer, you use in a case of emergency. He knew they did. When he was younger he always wondered if they worked.

As Jamie looked all over the widows, he saw something he should have not seen. A car was coming towards them.

Everything seemed to be moving in slow motion.

This was it. This is how he was going to die. In the middle of an argument with his mum, just before christmas. He needed a miracle.

Then something broke within him.

‘GET TO THE BACK OF THE BUS!’ he yelled, as he ran back up the aisle.

A few people didn’t move, but some seeing the readiness in his action moved to the back. Seeing the kid still standing, unsure where his parents were, he grabbed him and hid behind the last row of seats.

That's when the car hit the top of the bus. Jamie expects there to be exploding. There wasn’t one. The car had just taken off a portion of the roof and a few windows on the right hand side of the coach. Creating an unofficial skylight on the bus.

They needed to get off this coach.
Just then a young woman came in through the roof. She was a beautiful young woman, with short bushy brown hair, that was moving in the wind. She was wearing a white and pink top, and blue jeggings.

‘Everyone alright?’ she asked, as landed on the aisle.

No one said anything.

‘Just the bus driver,’ said Jame, after a moment.

‘Get to safety.’ she said, she lifted her hand, there was a big gust of wind and a large hole appeared in the side of the bus. Then there was another gust and she went back through the roof.

Jamie wanted a minute to really think about what he had just seen. But like everyone the need for safety had overwhelmed them.

When they got out of the bus, Jame looked up, and saw a man in Japanese armour, looking like the shredder floating in mid air. While there was a figure also floating in mid air, zapping him with lightning from his hands. And a massive fireball was zooming in behind him. While a massive stone like gollum hand was coming in from the other side.

‘What the @!*$ is going on?’ asked Jamie.
